Visa Requirements
To travel to Spain and attend the INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON DYNAMICAL MAGNETIZATION PHENOMENA IN NANOMATERIALS: FROM MAGNETIC LOSSES TO PARTICLE IMAGING, a valid travel document is required.
Spain is a member state of the Schengen Area, therefore citizens of Schengen countries only need a valid passport or ID card.
There are also countries whose nationals are not required to obtain a Schengen visa to enter any Schengen member state for tourism or business stays of up to three months. The list of those countries can be found at:
www.schengenvisainfo.com/who-doesnt-need-a-visa/
Citizens of all other countries (www.schengenvisainfo.com/who-needs-schengen-visa/) must apply for a Schengen Visa, the most common visa for Europe. This visa allows its holder to enter, travel freely within, and leave the Schengen Area from any of its member states.
The Schengen Visa can be requested at the Spanish embassies and consulates with territorial competence over the country of residence of the workshop participant:
www.exteriores.gob.es/en/EmbajadasConsulados/Paginas/index.aspx
If you need a personal invitation letter for your visa application to attend the workshop, please contact the Organizing Secretariat by sending an email to iwdmp-vo2026@azulcongresos.com, indicating “IWDMP Letter of Invitation” in the subject line.
The invitation letter will only be issued after your registration has been successfully completed, so please register as early as possible to ensure that you have enough time to obtain your visa.
Your name must appear in the registration exactly as it does on your passport to avoid delays or denial of the visa.
Please note that this invitation letter is not a certificate of participation or attendance.
